I Assure You We're Open.

I forgot to apologize for the consecutive days without a post. And NO we are not fizzling out. Thanks to Tash for lighting a fire under my ass.

So I drive a '00 Toyota Corolla. Grand little vehicle, it’s already been through some adventures but there was one problem from which many cars over a decade old suffer…The old fabric headliner falling down from the ceiling and resting softly on the heads of all the passengers.

You know what I’m talking about right? You’ve probably been in a more than a few cars like that over the course of your life. Your ancient aunt who refuses to get rid of her Acura Legend or your older cousin’s first car. The headliner for those non-car people out there-and I by no means am a car person, is the roof fabric on the inside of your car.

If you’ve ever been in a car where the headliner has come off, is in the process of falling, or was just never there to begin with, then you know what it’s like to get out of a car with a hundred little yellow balls of fabric in your hair that fell from the roof. My Car decided it was that time to shower my daughter in the same fashion on the way to school this morning, and this quite frankly just isn't going to continue happening, something has to be done.

So you figure I’d head on down to Pep Boys have them do a little repair job and throw some nice clean new tan fabric in there for me so I can ride in style once again right? Oh no sir, no sir. That will not do.

I plan to do this myself. With the stock tan fabric? nope. I plan on going to Jo Anns Fabric Store in Palomar, pick up some Elmers glue and the ugliest floral pattern i can find. Ill post some pictures when im done...yes i hate my car.
